Day 1: The Gateway to History & Desert Sands

Amman Departure: Travel south from the capital toward the "Rose City" of Petra. Petra Exploration: Enter the ancient Nabatean capital through the Siq, a narrow, high-walled canyon.

Discover the Treasury (Al-Khazneh), the Roman Theater, and the Royal Tombs. For those with stamina, the hike to the Monastery (Ad-Deir) offers the most impressive views. Transit to Wadi Rum: A drive through the southern mountains takes you into the “Valley of the Moon.” Wadi Rum Sunset & Jeep Safari: Board a Bedouin-driven 4x4 to explore red sand dunes, ancient rock inscriptions (petroglyphs), and natural rock bridges. Spend the evening stargazing by the campfire.

Day 2: Desert Sunrise & The Ultimate Float

Wadi Rum Sunrise: Wake up early to witness the sun rising over the desert peaks, followed by a traditional Bedouin breakfast. The Journey North: Travel from the desert floor toward the Jordan Valley, descending to the lowest point on Earth. The Dead Sea Experience: Visit a private resort for access to the shore. The Float: Experience the unique buoyancy of the salt-saturated water. The Mud: Apply the mineral-rich black mud, known for its skin-healing properties. 2. 2
    Petra

    Petra - Wadi Musa

The tour begins at Petra immediately with the Siq, the grand entrance to the city. This is a dramatic, naturally-formed canyon (a narrow gorge) that winds for about 1.2 kilometers (0.75 miles) between towering, colored sandstone cliffs. The walk through the Siq builds incredible anticipation, with ancient Nabataean water channels carved into the walls visible on both sides. The Siq suddenly opens up to reveal Petra’s most iconic and breathtaking sight: The Treasury (Al-Khazneh). Carved directly into the cliff face, this massive and exquisitely detailed façade is a marvel of ancient engineering and art, believed to be the tomb of an influential Nabataean king. This is often the first major photo opportunity and a moment that truly takes your breath away. After your visit to Petra, meet with your driver. Depending on where you are staying, either in Petra or Wadi Rum, your driver will drop you off at the hotel.

  3. 3
    Wadi Rum

    Wadi Rum

Wadi Rum is a vast, silent wilderness defined by dramatic contrasts. Massive sandstone and granite mountains, sculpted by millennia of wind, water, and sand, rise abruptly from the flat desert floor. The most striking feature is the color: the sand and rocks are stained a deep, burnished red-orange by iron oxide, giving the entire panorama a glowing, cinematic quality, especially at sunrise and sunset. The Experience You typically explore the terrain in a rugged 4x4 jeep, driven by local Bedouin guides who navigate the dunes and valleys, or on the back of a camel for a more traditional, slow-paced desert trek. Expansive slopes of soft, fine red sand invite you to climb to the summit for breathtaking 360-degree views of the sprawling desert You'll navigate narrow fissures, such as the Khazali Canyon, where ancient Nabataean and Thamudic petroglyphs—rock carvings of humans, animals, and symbols—are still etched into the cool stone walls, serving as a silent record of 12,000 years of human history.
